Save on Your Utility Bills With Marvel Power’s PV Solar Panels
Are you looking forward to reducing your carbon footprint and your utility bills? Check out commercial solar panel installation solutions by MarVal Power that designs, procures, and installs high-end solar panel systems across Ireland.
Make Your Business Energy Efficient
Irrespective of the size, scale, and scope of your business, ample ways are using which you can make your business highly energy efficient. With escalating electricity costs, the ample roof space available with commercial properties can be put to excellent use by making a solar investment. This step not only helps in saving money but a secure future supply of energy and reduce its carbon footprint. MarVal Power has come up with highly expert and safe commercial solar panel installation solutions. It has successfully ensured high yielding solar panels.
Here it is prudent to note that commercial PV Solar panels are installed on business premises and help in optimal utilization of solar energy used for generating electricity. Depending on the installation size, the electricity generated from the installation can meet a major portion of a business’s energy needs. This results in bringing a marked reduction in energy bills. The benefits of these PV Solar panels are also enjoyed by institutions like blue light services, schools, and other public institutions. Buy Solar Panels at MarVal Power and enjoy its amazing benefits in Ireland.
Not only commercial installations but residential sectors can also enjoy the benefits with domestic solar panels. These panels allow you to generate your clean energy, use it, and bring down your utility bills. Investing in domestic solar panels allows homeowners to improve your BER. Whenever you plan to sell your home, a higher BER will add more value to helping you in achieving a higher sale price. It also provides you another benefit, that is, reducing your emissions. You get to generate renewable energy which is clean and green energy that is directly beneficial to the environment. It also cuts down on your greenhouse emissions.
When you buy solar panels at MarVal Power, you enjoy financial gains. The solar PV system generates electricity at approximately 9 cents per kWh rate that includes operations and maintenance costs. When compared with grid supply which is approximately 13c per unit, it is a huge financial gain.
The investment in solar PV will cover its outlay, help you enjoy green energy, reduce carbon footprint, and provides a sizable energy portion for free once the finance term completes.

The PV panels are installed in rows on the most southerly aspect of your roof. Inverters take the DC power generated by the PV panels and convert this to AC power – the standard form of electricity we use. A generation meter records the amount of electricity generated and supplied to your building for self-consumption, which can be tracked live on your mobile phone. The owner of the building can then start to benefit and make savings on their utility bills.
Marval provides a complete turnkey service, operating as a single point of contact for the landowner through the entire grid/planning process and during the installation phase. Our in-house team of experienced experts will secure the necessary planning and grid permits to enable the project to proceed to installation. This ensures a simple, efficient and fast installation for the business owner.
How much you save will depend on how much you are currently paying your electricity provider for your daytime electricity. Generally speaking the capital investment required for the Solar P.V. installation will take 7-8 years to payback, however if you avail of grant(s) your payback can be reduced to 4-5 years or less. Once payback is completed you will then benefit from free electricity for the lifetime of the plant which is around 30 years.
If you have idle roofspace and consume electricity during daylight hours then you will benefit from Marval Solar Solution. Other factors which will determine how much you benefit are: • Your location – this determines the solar resource available • The roof aspect, shading and pitch – this has a bearing on energy production
Once contacted by a business owner, Marval carries out an initial desktop feasibility assessment. Before visiting the site, we can establish its suitability based on a number of factors such as available space, shading and roof structure. Once we establish basic suitability, we visit the site to consider it in more detail.
Currently any commercial scale rooftop solar installation in Ireland will require planning consent.Marval manages this process, including preparation of the planning documents and liaising with the local planning authority.
Yes. An application must be made to ESB Networks in order to connect in parallel to the grid (i.e. self-consumption on site). However, Marval manages this process from start to finish.
A typical rooftop installation will take 1-2 weeks to complete. Larger projects may take 2-3 weeks.
A 250kWp solar P.V. system in the south-east of Ireland generates sufficient zero-carbon electricity to off-set approximately 100 tonnes of CO2 each year. That’s the equivalent to the average annual carbon emissions from the electricity of 48 homes (Source: SEAI Energy-Related CO2 Emissions in Ireland 2005-2016 – published 2018).
A kilowatt hour (kWh) is a unit of electrical energy. 1 kWh is identical to 1 unit of electricity that is shown on your electricity bill. An electrical item having a power rating of 1kW will consume 1kWh for every hour it is operating at full power.
This is not a problem as you will own the Solar P.V. kit. The property could be promoted including a solar P.V. system that generates X kWh of electricity per year for free. This would help market your property to potential purchasers or tenants.
Currently it is not possible to get paid for exporting excess electricity to the National Grid generated by a rooftop Solar P.V. installation. This is why Marval will size your system accordingly to match your consumption levels on site. This ensures the most efficient use of your Solar P.V. system and the best returns on your investment. Other options include diverting surplus electricity to battery storage or EV chargers.
Marval will provide a sales contract for the purchase and installation of the solar plant. Should you wish to avail of our operations and maintenance services an additional contract will need to be signed for this.
You do not have to change your electricity supplier to benefit from our Solar P.V. system. You are free to become your own supplier!
The system installation should not affect your insurance cover at all; however, you will need to notify your insurer that you are having the system installed. Warranties will be provided on the Solar P.V. equipment itself and Marval will provide a warranty on installation.
Provided your insurer has been notified when the installation occurred your insurance policy should cover any damage to the system that results from such an event.
You are free to make any repairs necessary to your roof at your own cost. If your repair necessitates the removal of part or all of the PV system, Marval can facilitate this for a small cost.
Yes, however, you will normally require approval from your tenant beforehand. If you decide to share some of the benefit of the cheap, zero carbon electricity with your tenant, then they will be even more enthusiastic!
Yes, you must consult with any lender who has a legal charge over the property before agreeing to install a Solar P.V. system, but in our experience, most lenders are familiar with the installation of these systems and understand what’s involved.
It is the owner’s decision when to remove the equipment. However after 30 years, the P.V. system if fully maintained will still be generating electricity. So at that point there will be value in leaving the system on the roof.
No. There is only a limited amount of work that takes place inside your building that would cause any disruption to your normal working practices.
The installed weight of solar panels is typically between 14-15kg/ m2 including mounting equipment. This minimal additional loading rarely causes structural issues, but to be certain we undertake a structural survey where necessary ahead of the installation.
If desired, Marval offer a number of short and long term Operation and Maintenance contracts to ensure the P.V. system operates at optimum performance throughout the 30 years to ensure the maximum return. This would be entered into separately to the sales contract for the installation. Solar panels have no moving parts and need very little maintenance. So the system will be checked regularly using remote monitoring software. In addition the panels can be cleaned as necessary (not normally more than once a year) to ensure optimal performance and to maximise electricity bill savings. Your responsibility in this sense is merely to allow us access to the installation at pre-arranged times to carry out the maintenance work.
Equipment and workmanship issues will be covered under the warranty provided at installation. To minimise the risk of any such issues, and to satisfy lender’s requirements, we ensure that only high quality equipment supported by long term warranties is installed.
Marval’s team have a long track record in the solar sector. Their business is built on and relies on, the continued high performance of Solar P.V. systems in order to provide suitable returns to investors. Consequently it is in their interest to ensure your Solar P.V. system operates to maximum efficiency, meaning you take full advantage of the high levels of electricity generated.
There are a wide variety of fixing solutions that allow installation of Solar P.V. to most roofs, including flat roofs.
