For businesses
Ireland's flagship solar grant for anything that isn't a private home, plus a Revenue relief on the net cost. Most commercial projects use both. Grants are additive, and we file every one.
SEAI Non-Domestic Microgeneration Grant
Businesses, farms, public sector, schools, community centres, charities and non-profits all qualify. €300 per kWp on the first 6 kWp, then €200 per kWp up to the €162,600 ceiling at 1 MWp. Application approved before work begins; we file it, and approvals typically return inside the same working week.
Accelerated Capital Allowance
Write the full cost of energy-efficient equipment down against corporation tax in year one instead of spreading over eight. For a typical €200k commercial install net of NDMG, that's roughly €25k of tax saving pulled forward into the first return. Applied on the net-of-grant capital cost, so it stacks with NDMG. We file the claim alongside your accountant.
For farmers
The strongest solar aid rate in the country, administered by the Department of Agriculture, and it stacks with NDMG on the same project. Two portals, two windows, one advisor coordinating both.
TAMS 3 Solar Capital Investment Scheme
Farm-specific PV grant with a flat 60% aid rate on eligible equipment cost and a €90,000 investment ceiling ringfenced separately from your other TAMS entitlement. Covers panels, inverters, controllers, isolation switches and cabling. Who qualifies: registered active farmers with a herd number. We draft and file the DAFM application for you.
Battery storage at grant rate
Battery storage is eligible under TAMS 3 up to 50% of system capacity, so a 20 kWp roof gets a 10 kWh battery at the 60% rate. Stored midday generation covers morning and evening milking loads.
For homeowners
Both homeowner schemes are handled at quote stage. The grant lands on your invoice, the VAT never appears on it, and you never see a form.
SEAI Solar Electricity Grant
Systems 2 kWp and above on your primary residence. €700 per kWp up to 2 kWp, €200 per kWp up to 4 kWp. Property built before 2021. We submit the application, track approval and coordinate the BER assessor slot on your behalf.
Zero-rate VAT on the full install
Applied automatically at the quote. Covers panels, inverters, batteries and install labour. Saves the average home around €2,000 up front.

The Schools PhotoVoltaic Programme sits with the Department of Education on a rolling window. We track the current round and file on behalf of school boards.

Pre-approval submission
Every scheme except VAT and ACA needs pre-approval before install begins. We draft, review internally, submit to SEAI or DAFM. NDMG approvals typically return same week.
Install & commissioning
MCS certificate, ESB Networks NC6/NC7 notification, commissioning report. All three feed into the payment claim, no separate collection needed on your end.
Claim & ACA file
Completion claim to SEAI or DAFM with the commissioning pack. ACA claim filed through your accountant. Grant payments typically land 4 to 6 weeks after submission.

Do you actually file the paperwork, or just tell me what I qualify for?
We file it end to end. Pre-approval application, install-completion claim and post-commissioning verification are all handled by our compliance team. You sign, we submit. On residential SEAI grants, we also coordinate the BER assessor slot on your behalf.
How long does an SEAI NDMG decision take?
Most NDMG approvals return inside the same working week when the application is filed clean. Our internal pre-check catches the common blockers (missing MPRN, wrong applicant entity, incomplete site consent) before anything reaches SEAI.
Can NDMG be combined with Accelerated Capital Allowance?
Yes. NDMG covers the capital cost up to €162,600. ACA lets you write the remaining net cost of eligible energy equipment down 100% in year one. We coordinate both filings with your accountant so nothing double-counts and no relief is left on the table.
Is there still a residential SEAI grant?
Yes. Homeowners can claim the SEAI Solar Electricity Grant up to €1,800 for systems 2 kWp and above on primary residences built before 2021, alongside 0% VAT on the install. Both are handled at quote stage.
My site is on a long lease. Can I still claim NDMG?
Yes, provided the lease has 5+ years remaining and the landlord signs the site-consent form. We handle the landlord conversation and the SEAI ownership evidence pack. Most landlords sign once they see the CO₂ reporting benefit accrues to the operator, not to them.
What happens if the scheme rules change mid-project?
Pre-approval locks in the rate that applies to your project. Once SEAI or DAFM has stamped the pre-approval, subsequent scheme changes don't retroactively affect your file. This is the single biggest reason we never let a client wait on pre-approval: the paperwork is what protects the number in your quote.
